Itinerary: Camping Safari 9-days
Day 1: Arusha
Day 2 - 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Pick up and transfer to your accommodation at River Trees Country Inn (close to Arusha).
Today you drive to this small park that has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. With the lake on its east and the Manyara Escarpment to its west this park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of wildlife and habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. Enjoy the game drives in this park and overnight in the beautiful Wayo Green Camp. It is located on the banks of the Endabash River in the south of the park, at the bottom of a huge waterfall. Right in the heart of nature. From the rocks you have a beautiful view over the park down to the lake. The pools in the rocks provide the perfect retrieve for a cool (safe) swim on hot African afternoons.Day 4 - 5: Ngorongoro Crater
The next 2 days you can immerse yourself in the Ngorongoro Crater, also called the Garden of Eden. The amazing colours, abundance of wildlife and huge variety of flora makes this crater a natural wonder. One of the best places to spot the ‘Big Five’ and the rare black rhino. Overnight at the Ngorongoro Rhino lodge close to the crater.Day 6 - 8: Serengeti
Enjoy 3 days in world’s famous national park Serengeti. The image of acacia trees on endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many. Add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need to go no further. The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and much more. Overnight in the heart of nature, at Wayo Green Camp, Nabi Hill.
Day 9: Arusha
Fly from Seronera Airstrip (Serengeti) to Arusha Airport. We can drive you to your accommodation in Arusha or to Kilimanjaro Airport.
Price approx: US$3,385 per person based on 4 guests.
