How much will it cost?
Tanzania's largest National Park, Ruaha is a wilder and more remote park than the other southern park Selous. The rewards of travelling this far are a wild landscape - hills dotted with baobab trees and rocky escarpments- and superb wildlife. Large herds of elephant and buffalo are a common sighting and lion and leopard are abundant. Ruaha also offers an incredible variety of antelope and rare species such as the African wild dog and the striped hyena.
The best accommodation in Ruaha:
Jabali Ridge is Ruaha's most luxurious new safari lodge. It has ten luxurious suites, nestled in between rocky kopjes for the ultimate privacy. Set on the banks of the Mqaguso River in the northern part of Ruaha, Jabali should have the animals coming to search for water in front of the lodge all year round. This lodge offers a beautiful infinity pool, spa and plenty of areas to relax in between safari activities.
