Wayo means footprint – walking is our thing
Walking is an adventurous and active way to explore the Tanzanian wilderness and culture. Walking activities is where Wayo began, we’ve been doing it for over 25 years.
We are passionate about allowing guests to really connect with the environment around them outside of a Safari vehicle. Our routes have been taught by the indigenous people of Tanzania. Our walks are safe, respectful, educational and unique.
We offer many different walks from our short walks in around Arusha and Mto Wa Mbu to more adventurous walks in our Wayo Walking Camp in the Serengeti and our Green Camps in Northern Serengeti and Manyara. For something more adventurous we also run trans-Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater trekking Safaris.
