What does a luxury Safari look like?

The definition of luxury can mean different things to different people. To some it’s all about the experience where a roll mat on the ground sleeping under the stars is a luxury. To others, it is fine dining with champagne and private butlers.

Our luxury Safaris are the best of both worlds, bringing comfort and the luxury of a rare experience together.

Wayo Africa camps sit at a mid-range level meaning we offer luxury on the safari wildlife experience side but we don’t go as far as the premium menus or private butler service.

We do, however, have our sister camp Wilderness Usawa, which we built to take our unique Safari experience to the next level in terms of service and comfort. This award-winning camp is part of the exclusive Wilderness Portfolio and our team can easily combine this with other camps in cross-border Safari experiences.

Luxury Safari itineraries tend to start at around $14,000 per person for an 8-day Safari. This can go up to anywhere between $25,000 or $100,000 per person depending on the cross-border combinations, number of guests within your group and whether you require exclusive use of camps.
